SWDRA points changes for 2023 season
For JR Dragster, Sportsman, Pro and Super pro classes
Only points that are a “Bracket style race” will be counted toward the class championships. A bracket style race being where YOU pick your dial in.
All races that are a “Index Race” or just a straight “Heads up balls to the wall, first to finish line no dial in” race will not be counted towards those class championships. But they could be counted in the “Heads Up” class.
To simplify:
Any race where you don’t pick your dial in, could only be counted in the Heads Up class.
This will also make it easier for a racer to win two classes. And increase participation in the Heads Up class.
Because of this change we will change membership dues as follows to make more classes available to members.
Before the Banquet:
$25.00 to join SWDRA and 1 class
$10.00 for ANY additional classes entered
After the Banquet:
$30.00 to join
$15.00 for each additional class
All other rules will remain in their present form.
Please any payments being made to SWDRA for membership or sponsorships, make the check out to Alan or Russ.
At this time we do not have a way to cash a check made out to SWDRA, because of banking regulations.
Thank you
